COVID Guidelines

Your willingness to attend By Grace public gatherings is a personal decision based on your convictions and readiness to interact with others. Though we are putting safety precautions in place, you are ultimately responsible for your own health and well-being.

Congregational Update on COVID-19 Recommendations & Procedures (Effective May 23, 2021)

  • The Elders are lifting the request to wear face masks during our worship services. In other words, you are free to wear (or not to wear) a face mask. We are not free to judge those who do/don’t wear masks. (Romans 14:3) We will continue to have disposable face masks available.
  • We will not be changing any procedures for Children’s Church at this time. (See below for current procedures in place in Children’s Church.). This means that all Children’s Church volunteers are still required to wear masks when serving.
  • Seating will be increased in the center of the sanctuary, while the sides of the room will continue to have spaced seating. Once again we will be closing the sanctuary’s double doors.
  • Please do not attend if you do not yet feel safe to do so.
  • We will continue live-streaming our Sunday worship services via our YouTube channel for the foreseeable future. We strongly believe in the importance of the local gathering of the church. Zoom meetings and online worship services cannot possibly replace the physical gathering of God’s people. (Hebrews 10:25)

Children’s Ministry COVID-19 Procedures (Current May, 2021)

During the pandemic, By Grace has prioritized the health and safety of all children and volunteers by requiring temperature checks and responses to a health screening each Sunday before entering the classrooms. All toys, chairs, and tables are cleaned weekly and children in the Early Elementary and Preschool classes have their own supply bag provided for them each Sunday for the activities they complete during the lesson. All volunteers wear masks and all children’s hands are washed before Children’s Church, as well as during for children who eat a snack in the Nursery. If you have further questions, please contact the Children’s Ministry Team at kids@bygrace.cc.
