Children’s Ministry

By Grace is welcoming to families and children of all ages.  Our vision for our children is to see every child saturated with God’s Word, engaging their heart, mind, and will to treasure Christ as Savior and Lord.  Families are welcome to worship together for the entirety of the service.  Should you like to utilize our children’s ministries, we offer the following on Sunday mornings:

  • Infants & Toddlers (Ages 0-2, approximately) Children under the age of two are invited to be dropped off before the start of the service or at any point throughout.
  • Preschool (Ages 3-5, approximately) Children will be taught using the “Show Me Jesus” curriculum developed by Great Commission Publications.  These children will be dismissed for Children’s Church halfway through the Sunday gathering to continue worship in their respective classrooms.  
  • Early Elementary (Ages 6-8, approximately) Children will be taught using the “Show Me Jesus” curriculum developed by Great Commission Publications.  These children will be dismissed for Children’s Church halfway through the Sunday gathering to continue worship in their respective classrooms.  

COVID Protocols for Children’s Ministry

All volunteers working with our children pass a background check and receive training before serving in Children’s Church.  During the pandemic, By Grace has prioritized the health and safety of all children and volunteers by requiring temperature checks and responses to a health screening each Sunday before entering the classrooms.  All toys, chairs, and tables are cleaned weekly and children in the Early Elementary and Preschool classes have their own supply bag provided for them each Sunday for the activities they complete during the lesson. All volunteers wear masks and all children’s hands are washed before Children’s Church, as well as during for children who eat a snack in the Nursery.

Nursing Children

There is a private room available for nursing mothers and children in the rear of the sanctuary with audio connection to the service.
